Holly is a contemporary artist who has a passion for chocolate and was so inspired by the film Chocolat that she went on a quest to discover the secrets behind the best and most delicious chocolate in the world. She used her talent as an artist to design the packaging. Holly wants to grow a business that is in harmony with the world, so she uses only pure organic ingredients in her soil association accredited range of chocolates. Chemicals used in non-organic farming have been known to be harmful to the farmers and the environment. Holly has visited the cocoa farmers in Peru and found the experience so uplifting that she wants to share what she has discovered with the world. On Hollys workshops you can

All Chocoholly chocolates are made the old fashioned way by hand with lots of care, you can taste the difference to mass produced chocolates. Holly has won a taste award for her Rich milk chocolate, as it tastes sublime and contains 46% cocoa solids instead of the usual 20% (cadbury) to 30% This is a small business and not a remote global corporation.
Now it is known that chocolate with a high cocoa content is good for us so the darker the better. Holly also makes truffles and likes to make them with slightly less sugar then other brands thus allowing the cocoa flavours to come through. Her Salted Caramels are Gorgeous and were featured in the Observer Food Monthly for their Christmas roundup of the best tasting chocolates by Paul Young.
Holly enjoys creating new and exciting flavours that blend wonderfully with her organic chocolate. AWARD WINNING Rich Milk 46%
A shade darker than normal milk chocolate, Holly’s Rich Milk blend contains 46% Cocoa and has won the Great Gold Taste Award 2010 for its lingering smooth cocoa flavour. Cocoa has been proven to boost your cardiovascular properties.
Chilli & Coconut Dark
Holly’s Chilli and Coconut Dark chocolate is very popular as it is perfectly balanced, and not the usual mouth burner that chilli can be. Instead of producing a ‘novelty’ Chilli bar Holly hand-makes her own Chilli Oil, macerating over a low heat organic chilli and organic Virgin Oilve oil, to make sure the chilli is not overpowering but adds a subtle heat sensation to the organic coconut and rich cocoa.
Cardamon and Milk
Cardamom is commonly recognised as an ingredient in savoury Indian cooking but it is also used in sweet Indian dishes such as ice-cream and is crucial to the sweet milky drink Chai. On a trip to India this inspired Holly to blend organic cardamom oil with milk chocolate to create an innovative and delicious chocolate. Cardamom also naturally aids digestion.
Geranium and Rich Milk
Holly uses organic food-grade Rose Geranium Oil, Pelargonium, in her Rich Milk 46% chocolate to create a subtle chocolate with floral perfume notes. A small amount of Rose Geranium Oil is added as to not over-power the chocolate with Rose notes. Holly balances the sweetness of the Geranium with the richer higher cocoa content Rich Milk chocolate to create a beautiful and very more-ish chocolate!
Cranberry & Cinnamon White
Holly blends the classic flavours of tangy organic Cranberries and spicy organic Cinnamon with sweet white chocolate. The result is a beautiful looking bar with whole Cranberries that has nostalgic winter flavours that can be enjoyed all year round.
Strawberry & Chilli White
Holly’s new flavour has proven a big success! Holly hand powders the dried organic strawberry making the fun pink colour of the organic chocolate 100% natural. Holly blends slightly more of her hand-made chilli oil into this recipe to balance out the sweet combination of white chocolate and strawberry. Quickly becoming everyone’s favourite flavour, this blend has proven a big hit with children!
This classic bar has all the best qualities of a rich dark chocolate, leaving the mouth clean with a lasting taste of rich cocoa.
Our plain chocolate blends (74% and Chilli & Coconut Dark) don’t contain any dairy products making them suitable for Vegans. The whole of the Chocoholly range is suitable for vegetarians and all of the chocolate made by Holly is gluten-free. The whole Chocoholly range is also free from vegetable fats.
